Well, she sounds like a total snob but this personality might be her defensive mechanism after feeling betrayed by Yoruichi Shihoin. She vows to surpass her and is really working hard on it.
She might look fragile but this girl is great at hand-to-hand combat and a Kido master to boot. Her agility and keenness makes Suzumabachi a perfect zanpakuto for her.
Upon her reconciliation with Yoruichi, she is said to have a kinder personality and is presumed to harbor a much deeper affection for her former superior.
