Background:
Fudomine Tennis team is the dark horse of this series. Being the only team that comes from a public school and even gotten themselves involve in a school violence controversy.
No one really expects something from this team. And so they had a fun time throwing that opinion back in the faces of the teams they beat in District Tournament. The mighty Seigaku not included.
As the tournament progresses, Fudomine grows stronger and thus gaining reputation of a powerful team defeating equally strong team. The invincible Seigaku team still not included.
Most of the regulars of Fudomine are chummy with Seigaku regulars and can be seen playing on public tennis courts.
